Align Technology is looking for a Technical Manager, Ecommerce Web Development for our Shanghai office. The Sr. Web Developer should have exceptional skills with ecommerce platforms and web applications. This role will be part of Align Technology goal to deliver our clear aligners (Invisalign?) and 3D scanners (iTero?) to our customers. The Sr. Web Developer is responsible for planning, building and maintaining web applications specialising in Ecommerce platform for APAC. As a Sr. Web Developer, the candidate will work with cross functional teams of developers in Singapore, India and US. As a technical contributor in the execution of the strategic direction for the company, the success of this position will be measured by the usability, quality, and timeliness of applications delivery. She/He will participate on architecture, design, and implementation of these applications. The ideal candidate is expected to have proven extensive experience building web applications, work in collaboration with the business owners on gathering requirements and do project planning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
?Lead the implementation of APAC web development in Ecommerce.
?Provide solutions to field reported defects and customer requested enhancements.
?Implementing quality software solutions to a variety of problems or needs
?Contributing to the design, implementation and documentation of various software modules
?Design of systems, components and processes are scalable, reliable and maintainable
?Ability to troubleshoot and quickly come up with solutions related to networks, systems integration, and various types of client based applications.
?Identify GAPS in current processes and work on improvements
?Designs, codes and debugs applications in various software languages. Integrates software with existing systems.
?Quality metrics for support organizations
?Responsible for requirements definition, design and implementation of web applications on Ruby on Rails platforms.
?Responsible for working with business owners to propose high-quality user experience solutions for Ecommerce web applications.
?Work with various vendors and internal marketing team.
?Research current technology trends to provide input on how they may influence overall enterprise architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS
?A can do attitude, high energy, and creativity are required along with organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
?Strong interpersonal, oral, written, and visual communication skills, with ability to present findings concisely and effectively.
?Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, program management, and marketing about ives, requirements and design constraints.
?Solid understanding of agile development principles, careful attention to detail, as well as ability to design solutions for multiple product requirements.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
?BS/MS degree or equivalent
?Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in web development or Ecommerce.
?5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails or any other Ecommerce platform.
?Experience in client-side coding using HTML5, CSS3, .
?Experience with building UI/UX design and inters.
?Experience with server side languages like Ruby on Rails/PHP/Java/.NET, SQL on Postgres/MySQL/MSSQL Databases.
?Experience in Analytic tools
?Experience with Aliyun platform.
?Experience in Search engine optimizations (SEO),PPC,CMS, Social Media, Email marketing
?Experience with AJAX, REST API concepts, JSON and useful Design Patterns.
?Experience with project planning and AGILE.
?Experience with Marketing tools and Salesforce is a plus.
?Experience with CMS is a plus.
?Experience in using Git source control.
?Experience with Ecommerce integration such as TMall/WeChat/Taobao/JD.com is a plus
?Demonstrated teamwork skills with a solid analytical and statistical .
?Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
